HOW TO APPLY
Candidates must be nominated by a Government or other appropriate nominating authority such as a Maritime Administration or Authority. Such candidates should normally be persons already serving in, or intended to be appointed to a working position related to the port or shipping issues covered by the subject of the course. Applications are reviewed by I.M.S.S.E.A. against the entry requirements and the maximum intake of each course.
Among the academic cleared candidates, priority will be given to applications from developing countries.
Selected candidates for admission will be notified in writing.
Advice of academic clearance indicates only that a candidate has been selected by I.M.S.S.E.A. but it does not indicate that a candidate can enrol; this can only be confirmed when the necessary finance has been secured. I.M.S.S.E.A. must receive confirmation in writing as to whether the candidate is ready to join the programme and confirmation that the course fee has been remitted to the Institute’s Bank Account, details of which will be forwarded in due time.
Candidates and nominating authority will finally receive a message confirming the enrolment.
As well as a full set of joining instructions containing all the details of how to go about completing the course successfully.
