A limited number of fellowships, funded by the IMO and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs are awarded for the following Courses:
- Flag State Implementation
- Port State Control
- ISPS Code
- Marine Accident Investigation
Application for a fellowship
In order to apply for a fellowship, it is necessary to fill in completely and in good order the Application form. No further document is needed.
All candidates’ applications related to the above-mentioned courses will be evaluated by the IMO Technical Cooperation Division and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Fellowships will be assigned to applicants on the basis of different criteria, trying to have the widest geographical coverage and especially aiming at supporting developing Countries.
Participants who have been awarded a fellowship will receive an official communication from IMSSEA/IMO TCD some days after the deadline.
