The IMSSEA Academy
I.M.S.S.E.A. has been created in cooperation with IMO and is the result of the joined efforts by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Province of Genoa to reactivate in Italy a centre of excellence capable of providing advanced education, training and technical advice.
Studying at IMSSEA: Accomodation
I.M.S.S.E.A. is able to offer an accommodation scheme for the courses held in the new premises in the village of Arenzano, taking advantage of local connections, in order to provide an all-inclusive stay.
Participants who are awarded a fellowship from the IMO will have their entire participation covered (tuition and accommodation fees). Please note that travel expenses are not included and have to be borne by the participants/their administration.
How to reach the Academy
Starting from 2017, IMSSEA will hold its courses in a new spectacular and amazing seat: Villa Figoli, an ancient building located in Arenzano, West coast of the province of Genoa.
- By bus – lines number 15, 15/ and 43
- By car – closest highway exits are Genova Nervi and Genova Est
- By train – closest railway station is Genova Brignole (bus 43 stop is just in front of the station)
- By plane – Genoa airport “Cristoforo Colombo” is linked to the City – centre by a bus shuttle service (Volabus)
